The Texas legislature adopted several bills related to the Open Meetings Act (OMA) and the Public Information Act (PIA) in the 88th Regular Legislative Session that are now in effect.  In this one-hour webinar, TML legal counsel will discuss the changes to the Texas open meetings and public information laws that affect cities including new requirements related to posting a meeting agenda, requesting attorney general opinions, eliminating the “dead suspect” loophole, redefining the term “business day” for calculating deadlines, and more.
